Comments on the Proposed Critical Habitat Designations
Written comments on the proposed critical habitat
designations must be received by March 14, 2005. You may submit comments on the proposed
critical habitat designations, identified by docket number [041123329I-4329-01] and RIN
number [0649-AO04], by any of the following six methods:
1. Send e-mail to the following address: critical.habitat.swr@noaa.gov. Include the docket number and RIN number in the subject line of
the message.
2. Through the Federal e-Rulemaking Portal at the
following web address: http://www.regulations.gov.
Follow the instructions for submitting comments.
3. Through the NOAA Fisheries' web site at the following
web address: http://ocio.nmfs.noaa.gov/ibrm-ssi/index.shtml.
Follow the instructions for submitting comments.
4. Mail written comments and information to:

How to Access
Materials Relating to the Proposed Rule on the Web
The proposed rule, maps and other materials related to the
proposal can be found at NOAA Fisheries Southwest Region's home page by entering the
following web address into your web browser: http://swr.nmfs.noaa.gov.
Scroll down to the sixth bulleted item on the left-hand side of the web page and click on
the link titled "NOAA Fisheries Proposes to Designate Critical Habitat for 20
Evolutionarily Significant Units (ESUs) of Salmon and Steelhead in the Northwest and
California." This will take you to the Southwest
Region's Salmon and Steelhead page, and labeled links to the documents relating to the
proposed rule appear starting at the top of the page. An example of how the Southwest
Region's home page appears and the link to select can be found on the back of this sheet.

any link to view these documents. Please note that if you cannot open any of
