EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS FOR SALTWATER ANGLERS "Fish for Tomorrow" The purpose of the video is to illustrate the important role that anglers play in conserving marine fish resources for future generations. The 27-minute NOAA Fisheries video is narrated by outdoor writer and sportfishing personality Charlie Davis, who provides insights from his 50 years of sportfishing experience. During the video, viewers are shown proper catch-and-release techniques and given interesting tips on how to identify sport fish through the use of graphics and photographs of fish in their natural environment. Useful tips also are given on fishing tackle and fishing techniques and how to take care of the fish you keep so that it will taste good when cooked. "Counting on Anglers" The purpose of the video is to provide anglers with an understanding of how some of the data on marine recreational fishing is collected and the benefits to anglers for their support of data collection. The 14-minute video focuses on the Marine Recreational Fisheries Statistics Survey (MRFSS) a national survey sponsored by the NMFS with support from cooperating state agencies.
