Proposed Rule for 2005 - 2006 Groundfish Regulations


The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) proposes a rule to implement the 2005 – 2006 fishery specifications and management measures for groundfish taken in the U.S. exclusive economic zone off the coasts of Washington, Oregon, and California. This rule was published in the Federal Register on September 21st. The proposed rule can be accessed on the Northwest Region website (link provided below) and comments on the proposed rule should be received by NMFS no later than October 21, 2004 (see addresses section of the rule for details on submitting comments).
