Issue: The National Marine Fisheries Service needs to provide an efficient medium to organize and coordinate internal EEOAC related information to all employees in the SWR and to provide easily accessible information to the public for EEOAC related programs and promotions.

Proposed Solution: Create an Intranet web page (http://swr.nmfs.noaa.gov/eeoac) which would feature SWR EEOAC membership, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, Center and Region Affirmative Action Plans, awards recipients, budget, bylaws, policies, action plans, activities, yearly reports, useful and related EEO links, and all other EEOAC business documents. Documents must be approved by the EEOAC executive committee before posting. Web site maintenance and postings will be handled by the Administrative Committee members.

Create an Internet Web Page (http://swr.nmfs.noaa.gov/eeoac) for use by the EEOAC to post information appropriate for the public. Uses will include but not be limited to publicizing Fisheries related EEO opportunities and promoting Fisheries related EEOAC outreach programs.

Total Cost: Committee work time.

Action and Target Dates: Draft Intranet and Internet web pages available for EEOAC member review and comment on by February 9, 2000. Open Intranet and Internet web pages for production use by February 16, 2000.

All information in the web page was approved by the SW EEOAC Executive Committee.
