Speakers’ Bureau workplan: Troian submitted a revised plan to the committee and the plan was accepted as is. Troian will make sure that the work plan is in the format which Tim Price set up. The plan will be put on the agenda for the main EEOAC meeting March 6.

Intern workplan: Price will help Clancy draft a memo to Dr. Tillman, seeking his support of the workplan. Clancy will describe the success of last year’s plan in Arcata. Price will modify the time line of the plan so that the dates are more accurate.

David Starr Jordan Open House workplan We would like to hold this open house, but the timing is still up in the air. Troian met with Valerie Philbrick and Sherri Charter to discuss various scenarios. Troian will check with Chris Moore to see if we have a date in March and if we need badges for everyone who participates. This plan may go forward with the date still not specified. Troian will revise the workplan.

Guest Speakers workplan: The subcommittee is thinking about polling employees to see what kind of classes/training they would be interested in taking at work. Troian met with Ginny Hostler who made suggestions about our draft list of classes. Hostler also suggested that Troian retrieve the Federal Women’s Program questionnaires where people listed class preferences.

New business: Merritt is interested in finding out what the chain of command is for EEO complaints. She will investigate this item and report back to the committee.

Golden is interested in career development for people who are already employees of NMFS. Golden will research this item and report back to the committee.
